Welcome to the Thinkingware Workshop & Teaching Platform

This is an evolving platform with the overarching aim of improving our collective ability to deliver great teaching and workshops through acess to innovative tools and by providing a space for information sharing.

The first version of this platform offered a workshop planning tool, together with some advice and background on how to approach running effective workshops. That work was enabled and supported by UKRI.

This second development of the site has been made possible by a Flexible Learning Pilot which explored how make best use of the tools and approaches used in the award-winning RoundView Guidelines, in sustainability teaching and learning across the University.

Foundations & theory gives a view of the theory behind the approach used to design the Workshop & Teaching Planning Tool.

The Planning Tool is a guided process for building and saving workshop and lesson plans.

The Workshop Library is a space for sharing and collaborating on the plans made via the planning tool. It is possible to share them with colleagues, or submit them to be shared them publicly in the workshop plan library. Everything on this site is curated and subject to team approval. It is not a public forum, but does aim to provide high quality free resource to the public where appropriate.

The Shared Info & Resources is a flexible space for sharing information. This includes full lessons and/or supporting materials; modular, flexible resources; and open, experimental documents or material that is not-finished, not-polished, not-certain but worth sharing for co-development. A space to support dialogue, connection and knowledge creation. If you have any questions or suggestions or would like to contribute, please get in touch!
